Before going under the direction of Gregg Parris, I would spend countless hours in the gym wasting my time because I was not being efficient in my workouts. I weighed 210 pounds and for some reason I could not manage to change that. One summer I approached Gregg and asked him for some guidance. Gregg put me on a practical workout regimen that fit my needs. I knew what I wanted and Gregg set the wheels in motion for me to reach my goals. Within two weeks, I lost ten pounds! Friends and family began to compliment me already and I continued to push onwards. Gregg's extensive knowledge of fitness and nutrition helped me lose weight, increase my cardiovascular endurance, improve my strength and ultimately improve my self-confidence. At the end of that summer I had lost a total of 30 pounds and I felt like a new person. I continue to follow Gregg's advice with respect to fitness and good eating. Currently I weigh 170 pounds and I attribute my fit build to Gregg and his GPS (Gregg Parris System). Gregg is an outstanding personal trainer and I would recommend him to anyone of any age and build who wants to see results. My experience at the gym has been fantastic, mostly thanks to my trainer, Gregg Parris. Gregg listened to my needs, designed and built a series of dynamic and variable workout plans geared to achieving my goals of weight loss, increased strength and power and improved flexibility. Gregg mixes up a variety of great exercises including boxing, power work, balance exercises and most importantly - a major focus on building my core strength. Gregg is a great motivator - he knows when to challenge you and when to back off. He is knowledgeable about exercise, diet, and many areas of human physical performance and function. After a 20 year absence from downhill ski racing, I am placing in the top 15 out of 120 racers every weekend and I know that a big part of my success is my improving health and fitness - all a result of Gregg's expert guidance and support! Gregg gives you a complete package of health and wellness expertise. Thanks Gregg, I wanted to thank all of you for the amazing support I've received over the past few months since I started coming to the gym. I came to Gregg Parris with specific fitness goals and he has managed to exceed my expectations on every level! I've never felt (and looked) better in my life, and of course - he manages to make every session fun which keeps motivating me to come back and stay fit. I wanted to give you an update and say a few words about Gregg. Since I began working with him, I have lost about 42lbs and many inches. Last night, I finally survived the plank for 90 seconds, which is incredible for me since at first I could barely do 30 seconds. I have worked really hard to reach this point, but my real thanks goes to Gregg and I just wanted to let you know he has been exceptionally supportive and encouraging, in person and with email. He pushes and challenges me, puts up with my moans and groans, but is always unbelievably kind. Most importantly, he made me believe I could do it - from day one, when I was so very overweight, unfit, embarrassed, having tremendous back problems and didn't believe I could do it at all. I didn't think I would have achieved so much and lost the weight, grown stronger and finally actually want to exercise. Even though I'm not yet at my goal, thanks to Gregg, now I know I can do it. I will be forever grateful to Gregg, and you for setting me up with him that day, which was the first day of the rest of my new and improved healthy life!! At 37 years of age, I'm in the best shape of my life. I started training with Gregg in January in anticipation of this summer's Firefighter Combat Challenge season. I lowered my personal best time in each successive event around the country, until finally recording a 1:48 time right here in Toronto in late August - down 15 seconds from last year! I never thought I would get that low. This qualified me for the World Championships in Las Vegas in November, and got me an invitation to Dubai for a Combat demonstration there. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all that you have done for me and helped me do for myself!! When I first met you, I had not exercised in years, had problems with my lower back and was overweight. I felt embarrassed at how unfit I was and was anxious about how I would manage. Gregg, what can I say? I have read over the testimonials on your website and I could have written any one of them. It is all true. You are a great trainer. This working out is hard work and it really is tough to consistently push your body through the pain and really make improvements. But you make me look forward to my training sessions and I see and feel the results in my life every day. I can't help but work hard when you are so enthusiastic, so motivating and so interested in my progress. Your dedication to your continuing education means that you always have something new to share; and, as my knowledge builds, I am motivated to try harder. I am really lucky to have met you and to have your support. I started training with Gregg when I was 5 months pregnant and I was very
impressed with how he managed my program. He designed a pre natal program
that was specific to my goals since I wanted to maintain my current fitness
level and get back to ski racing and other sports once the baby was born. He
continually changed my program as a result of my expanding belly and I
trained with him until a week before the baby was born. I'm now 6 months
post natal and could not be happier with my results. My recovery and weight
loss has been relatively quick and I owe my success to Gregg. I returned to
ski race training at 5 months post natal and with Gregg's training I will be
able to cycle, row and kayak in the spring. It's difficult to find a trainer
who can accommodate a client with an ACL repair who is pre and then post
natal. I would highly recommend Gregg for anyone looking a personalize

I know how to work out and eat properly I have been doing it for years. Sometimes you just need that extra push or motivator. I was moving to an island where its bikini season all year round and I wanted help to push myself harder to tone up the last bit. I know that how much you weigh does not matter its how you feel and how your clothes fit. So my only goal was for my clothes to fit better and look and feel more toned. Working out with Gregg 3x a week for 9 weeks before I left did the trick. He is very motivational your goal becomes his goal and he sets out with a plan for you on how he can help to make it happen. He is always constantly following up with you and staying in contact about your progress. If he gives you homework like extra cardio or what you should not be eating later he will follow up to make sure your on track. Most trainers are with you for an hour in the gym and that's it anything else will cost extra. I've had 3 other trainers before Gregg nothing could compare in how different he treats his clients. Thank you for your help Gregg, I love the way my body looks and how I feel now. Gregg is an excellent trainer. His technical knowledge - his knowledge of anatomy and the functions of the body, and his ability to determine what needs work and how to achieve it, is second to none. He can quickly and enthusiastically adapt a work out program on the spot to avoid, resolve or heal problem areas, to achieve new objectives or simply to provide variety and interest. His workout programs although grueling at times are different, interesting and not repetitious - there is always a new goal to work towards. He has excellent knowledge of nutrition and can offer sensible advice about small changes to diet that make a difference. He has a caring, positive and cheering attitude and truly has concern for the well being of his clients. And results are excellent. He took me on when I was a somewhat out-of-shape mid-fifties part time runner and now, at age 60, I am in better physical shape and can run farther and faster than I ever have before. Thanks to GPS I have been able to reverse the effects of becoming glued to my desk at work. After noticing a decline in my endurance and a slouching posture I began working with Gregg Parris twice a week (now currently once a week) as my trainer. Within weeks I had made significant inroads in my posture and felt stronger almost immediately. Thanks to Gregg I have more endurance, better posture and more strength than I ever have. Although I participate less than ever in my favorite sports, I have been performing better than I ever have. I am stronger, faster and better. I am in the best shape of my life and happier than ever! Of all people, I can attest to the value of your skills. Losing more that 125 pounds with you as a key member of my team of three primary professionals, the intensity of my workouts with you have resulted in a much better metabolism. My cholesterol and triglycerides have improved dramatically, from dangerously high levels at the time we first met. My waist size has shrunk from 50" to 34" and I've maintained my weight loss for over half a year now, by continuing with the great examples of training that you set for me. I think the greatest thing about your workouts Gregg have been the effectiveness due to the intensity of your routines with me. The variety and creativity you have given me in our sessions together, kept me inspired to want more time with you as I pursued my goal of weight loss.
